Yoga Nidra is one of the simplest and most effective forms of meditation. Yoga Nidra is a true life
hack for me. It relaxes, relieves stress in record time and regenerates the body within half an hour, so
that you have strength again. During Yoga Nidra you do not sit or move, you lie comfortably and
covered. You have your eyes closed and just listen to the voice. Sometimes you fall asleep and wake
up in between or at the end. This happens especially when you are new to Yoga Nidra or when you
are very exhausted. That is completely okay. Then you just slept for half an hour. Especially people
who have problems to fall asleep in the evening or to turn off the head cinema and mind carousel,
Yoga Nidra will help to relax. One learns to "come down" through the various techniques. One learns
to relax, and this then works better and better in everyday life or to fall asleep in the evening. A small
body scan, a few conscious breaths, the awareness of the senses. All this helps to decouple from
stress and to feel oneself again. I am happy to accompany you on this path and wish you a lot of fun
and pleasant relaxation.

As we begin our practice, we are invited to let go of all physical, mental, and emotional activity, allowing ourselves to sink into a state of dynamic sleep where true healing and restoration can take place.
In this episode of Yoga Nidra, we embark on a dream journey to a snow-covered mountain with our skis, guided by the power of visualization and our own imaginations. As we journey deeper into this inner world, we allow ourselves to fully immerse in the experience, feeling the cold, crisp air on our cheeks and the warmth of our bodies as we journey up the mountain.
As we journey through this dream world, we are also invited to explore the deeper realms of our subconscious minds, where hidden content and limiting beliefs may reside. Through the power of visualization and mental relaxation, we are able to bring these hidden aspects of ourselves to the surface, allowing us to release them and move towards a deeper state of inner harmony and balance.
Through the extensive body scan that begins our practice, we bring awareness and attention to every part of our bodies, allowing ourselves to fully relax and sink deeper into the state of dynamic sleep. And as we journey through this dream world on our skis, we allow ourselves to fully let go of any tension or stress, feeling the freedom and joy of the present moment.

Yoga Nidra - the practice of yogic sleep is a vedic tradition meditation. It is a tool, allowing you to activate your parasympathetic nervous system, calm your sympathetic nervous system and recover and heal your body. 
In this particular meditation we use positive affirmations and visualisation tools to direct your mind into a happy and positive state. The positive affirmations allow you to get more clarity over your personal goals and gives you the focus to achieve them.

Just like a computer undergoing a clean up, or a bicycle needing a tuneup, our mind can optimize our body and also reset the parasympathetic system.
The principles in this meditation are derived from the yogic tradition. If you are interested in experiencing more, please investigate Yoga Nidra.
Prior to this meditation, find your meditation position. Lie on a mat on the floor or bed. If you have any discomfort in your lower back, put a pillow or bolster underneath your knees.
Make sure the room temperature is warm and you might fight it to be comfortable to cover your lap with a blanket.
Challenge yourself and see how well you can focus without wandering back to your busy life.
